This island-atoll is part of the Northern<br \/>\nCooks Islands and is uninhabited, except for a caretaker.  It is<br \/>\na national park and fairly popular with sailors.  The route will<br \/>\ntake us north of Maupiti and Motu One on a course of about 275<br \/>\ndegrees magnetic.  The entrance to Suvarov is at South 13<br \/>\ndegrees 14 minutes and West 163 degrees 06 minutes, about 689<br \/>\nnautical miles from Bora-Bora. The forecast is for light winds<br \/>\nfor the first 24 to 36 hours then moderate winds thereafter.
